Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.



Your key responsibilities include:
  • Improving performance of infrastructure and availability of applications running in the public cloud
  • Handling monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging of cloud-native infrastructure
  • Continuous improvement /Automation
  • Advising our customers on how to adopt the best possible service composition of public cloud-based services and tools
  • Keeping and improving the level of customer satisfaction - supporting production environments
  • Contributing to Nordcloud’s internal community and enabling the best collaboration between colleagues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Knowledge of operating systems
  • Background in Linux/Unix system administration
  • Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Skills in Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with automation and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
  • Public cloud platform experience with Azure and good to have experience with one of the following: AWS, GCP
  • Awareness of agile methodologies
  • Limited on call expected

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Landing zone build or support experience
  • Experience with containerization (OpenShift (Kubernetes), Docker)
  • Programming language such as Golang or Python
  • Database administration in SQL Server or Oracle
  • Any Network Security skills
